Lidewij Edelkoort created Heartwear in 1993 together with a group of stylist friends. Heartwear is a non-profit association that encourage handcraft. They work together with astisans to create their products. The product will be shipped over worldwide. What makes this non-profit organisation so special is that they want to show the skills, knowledge, culture and environment of the region the products are made. I want to show you the indigo textiles they made with artisans in Benin.
