IKEA Mimics Apple-Style Video for Catalogue 2015

How to get more attention than Apple, be a copycat!

IKEA made this hilarious two-minute video to demo their new 2015 catalog. Showing how great the new catalog is and what beautiful benefits it has.

“At only 8 mm thin, and weighing in at less than 400 g, the 2015 IKEA Catalogue comes pre-installed with thousands of home furnishing ideas,” according to Ikea’s commercial speaker.

Beautifully copied the concept of Apple, the way Apple introduces their new technology.

Groupe_Mosaert_stromae-fashion-collection-african-boldatwork-huntingandcollectingLess than a week ago the singer Stromae, the artist name of the Belgian Paul van Haver, shows his first unisex clothing collection and within that week the collection is almost sold out. A Brussel located store “Hunting & Collecting“, where the collection is exclusively sold, is already out of stock!

The only way to buy his collection is by the website of Mosaert or the website of Colette, but be quick cause they are low on stock!

The next collection in already in the making, but not jet known when this will be available.

First Chinese Model on the cover of Italian Vogue

The First Chinese Model on the cover of the Italian Vogue, shot by Steven Meisel, and it looks amazing. I always love the uniqueness of chinese models. This should have happened sooner, probably cause of a driving force in the industry–magazines still tend to present a pretty narrow (read: White) beauty ideal. Fei Fei Sun is the lucky one and showed the world how beautiful she is. You go girl!!

Comment by Vogue:
“Fusion elegance. The language of style is universal: border-free. Thus, by evoking the exotic and sophisticated allure of China Machado, the fusion icon of the Fifties, a story of elegance and refinement is recounted.”

VOGUE September issue

The cover with a pregnant Ymre Stiekema

Today was the launch of the first Dutch September Issue. The theme of this years issue is the Romantic Revolution. In the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam their was the opportunity to buy the magazine one day earlier, so I thought way not take a look!20120815-231021.jpg
20120815-231332.jpgThe windows of the Bijenkorf were designed by the VOGUE stylists, a dress made of army jackets, roses hanging on a thread, a big pile of red clothing with a model on top and a lot of beautiful designer clothes!

The only thing that bothered me was how they organised the hole thing. I thought VOGUE would make something fantastic to pronounce the September issue but unfortunately they just showed a few models dressed nicely with a baby car with roses, to give a way! Nothing spectacular! The whole time I thought it still had to begin, i was expecting something big.
