This brand just topped up and you can say they’re doing really good all over the world. An Amsterdam eyewear brand called Ace & Tate just opened their store in De Negen Straatjes in Amsterdam. Ace & Tate shells trendy spectacles and sunglasses with prescription for an affordable price of only 98€. Way they are so famous, is for their home-try-on service, this way you can try the glasses on at home and choose which you will want to buy (online or at the store). For the trendy interieur owner Mark de Lange teamed up with Occult Studio to show luxuries design frames for an amazing price!

After opening an AllSaints in the Bijenkorf on the Dam, Topshop got their own Shop-in-Shop of two spaces, Men and Women.

They discovered a few autonome brands, which bring a new and fresh input into the sunglasses market in the Netherlands. Sunculture is a (web)store based in Amsterdam.

And Friday i was part of their opening on the Quellijnstraat 80 with music, food, drink and enthusiastic people. You just have to love these sunglasses, they are amazing! And if you don’t live in Amsterdam, you can buy them online..

The Office of JWT Amsterdam, designed by Alrik Koudenburg and RJW Elsinga. The historic advertising firm located on a top location in Amsterdam, the Leidseplein. Every room has a theme ‘Think’, ‘Do’ and ‘Make’ and has it’s own surprise.

A Greenhouse-style meeting room,
Giant robots that double as cupboards,
Tree sculptures and a pop-art panorama (colorful illustrations on walls)

All together form this fantastic working environment.

VOGUE September issue

Today was the launch of the first Dutch September Issue. The theme of this years issue is the Romantic Revolution. In the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam their was the opportunity to buy the magazine one day earlier, so I thought way not take a look!
The windows of the Bijenkorf were designed by the VOGUE stylists, a dress made of army jackets, roses hanging on a thread, a big pile of red clothing with a model on top and a lot of beautiful designer clothes!

The only thing that bothered me was how they organised the hole thing. I thought VOGUE would make something fantastic to pronounce the September issue but unfortunately they just showed a few models dressed nicely with a baby car with roses, to give a way! Nothing spectacular! The whole time I thought it still had to begin, i was expecting something big.
