At Paris Fashion Week a lot of denim styles has been spotted. Not only as a jeans but a lot of cool jackets, coats and blouses. In about a month Amsterdam will have it’s third Amsterdam Denim Days event, where the hottest jeans brands will come together and share their cool new items. So to get the feeling of this springs summer trend, here are a few cool denim outfits.

Atelier de l’Armée is a dutch brand that creates products that are well constructed, skillfully crafted and have amazing detailing. Getting inspired by the functionality and durability of vintage work and military menswear. The brand even thought about the environment weill making the products and are handcrafted, made out of limited batches of deadstock leathers.
They also sell hand picked unique vintage items, or even collectables. Picking by taste, Atelier de l’Armée selects item by denim, vintage workwear or old military items. The items get more and more interesting and beautiful by wearing it.

Yesterday Amsterdam is turned into (indigo) Blue for the 4 days event “Denim days”. A event for fashion forward aficionados of denim, for professionals as well as consumers. The Amsterdam Denim Days events is organised in the Westergasfabriek and also through the city center.
House of Denim presents Amsterdam Denim Days from 7 till 10 may 2014 in collaboration with Kingpins Show, Modefabriek and HTNK.
Relating to this event I will be blogging in the denim theme.Conceived and produced by the award-winning creative agency Flickering Wall, ‘Denham Psycho’ is a short film tribute to the controversial cult-classic originally premiered at Sundance in 2000. Denham Psycho will be launched during the kick-off event of the ‘Blue Yard’ Denham Pop-Up Store & Cinema on Tuesday 14th of January in Berlin.

Last summer the designers at Dutch studio Wink created a fashion-forwared display of about 1000 dip-dyed white / blue shirts at Bread & Butter in Berlin! They got their inspiration from holy places around the world, and also the building where the fair was hosted, the Tempelhof.
