STOP RACISM: Walter van Beirendonck

The Menswear collection by Walter van Beirendonck also had a great message to send: STOP RACISM. By showing this message in red letters on a  giant feather headdress with a middle finger to go with it.

Big fashion brands often make the mistake by using a Native American headdress, like Chanel did at their Chanel’s Métiers d’Art show in Dallas and also  Urban Outfitters by naming their underwear: “Navajo” and Karlie Kloss at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Hopefully the fashion industry will listen for once..

Lovin the way they’ve been shot by photographer Craig McDean. Walking down midtown arm-in-arm. The duo wearing a black suit and their futuristic helmets, while Karlie Kloss is shinin inbetween them looking amazing in Gucci, Saint Laurent, 3.1 Phillip Lim and others.

Stylist: Tabitha Simmons
The amazing bob hair: Malcolm Edwards
Make-up: Mark Carrasquillo
