RICK OWEN SHAKES IT UP
Rick Owen sure knows how to show the people a new way of looking at his collection. Beginning inspired by African-American stepping – where the whole body is used as an instrument to make sounds by stamping, clapping and spoken word – Owens showed a collection with zipped-up, laced-up and tough-talking separates, making 40 fierce model “steppers” run the catwalk. The troop were selected by Owen from 4 sorority teams called: Momentum, Zetas, Washington Divas and Soul Steppers. Choosing this way of showing his fantastic new collection, it will stand out and be remembered.
Why don’t other designers do something refreshing and shake things up like this?
VOGUE vs INSTAGRAM
Vogue just started using Instagram and already turned it into a hot fashion profile. With not only a #selfie of Anna Wintour but also a specially made photoshoot shot by Michael O’Neal using only an iPhone. The exclusive pictures are shot by the Times Square, Central Park and Grand Central.

KARLIE VS DAFT PUNK
I just had to show this August 2013 Vogue US issue photoshoot of the Victoria Secret model Karlie Kloss and musical duo Daft Punk. Lovin the way they’ve been shot by photographer Craig McDean. Walking down midtown arm-in-arm. The duo wearing a black suit and their futuristic helmets, while Karlie Kloss is shinin inbetween them looking amazing in Gucci, Saint Laurent, 3.1 Phillip Lim and others.

Be In Shape Ever
The 82 year old model Carmen Dell’Orefice is still in shape and even has a better body then the most of us. For the Italian Vogue she is wearing the new sportswear of Chanel and Alexander Wang and is playing the rol of personal trainer. I hope to look like that when I’m eighty! Amazing!!

Chic Chanel vending machines.
Came across these fantastic vending machines made by Chanel for Vogue’s fashion night out in September. And just had to share this!
I always love the way Chanel communicates with it’s costumers. They are so creative and always giving us inspiration. Just look at these Vending Machines to show Chanel’s makeup.
And so I have read, today the new Le Volume the Chanel-mascara will be lanced the same way at Selfridges on Oxford Street.
